Idaho Quail Hunting Information
Spring conditions were excellent in northern Idaho, while southern "Spudland" received a cool and wet June. Those areas that did not get hit with so much rain and stayed a bit warmer could have very good year classes. The highest harvest occurs in the southwest region of the state, while lower but respectable numbers are found in the southeast and the Magic Valley regions. All told, Idaho hunters should be in the same vicinity as last year's 70,000 bird harvest. * Season Dates: Area 1(East) is Closed; Area 2 (North & West) is September 19 thru January 31, 2010 * Daily Bag / Possession Limits: 10 / 20
