Quail Hunting - Russell, Kansas

Quail hunting in Kansas has increased dramatically over the past five years or so. This is due in part to a steady increase in the number of quail in Kansas. Kansas ranks as the TOP quail producing state in the nation, and for good reason! Quail habitat has increased with the CRP program and this has provided additional habitat for the quail, that was not previously available to them! Quail have expanded their range to include most if not all of the state. We are fortunate to have quail in good numbers in the areas that we own or lease
