Southeastern New Mexico offers great hunting opportunities. Our primary hunts are draw hunts for elk and mule deer and day hunts for scale/blue quail. Where does a bird hunter go when the season shuts down up north? South --- to New Mexico! New Mexico offers three species of quail: scaled, gambles, and Mearns. Combine this with beautiful big wild country, great local atmosphere and food, and you have a trip you will return for every year. Many of my hunters say they feel as if they are in another country without all the hassles. There are also many attractions in the area for non-hunters. Temperatures are warm for January with highs commonly reaching 70 degrees.
