Celebrity Quail Hunt Event Features Shooting Sports, Fishing, Golf
Sep. 24, 2008The Illinois Conservation Foundation’s 15th annual Celebrity Quail Hunt on Nov. 2-4 will feature quail and pheasant hunting, guided fishing opportunities, boat tours of Rend Lake, golf, and a variety of shooting sports competitions at the Rend Lake Resort complex in Franklin County.
Quail hunters and conservationists in central Illinois have formed the state's newest Quail Forever chapter. Known as the Central Illinois Bobwhites Chapter of Quail Forever, the chapter will focus on quail habitat restoration efforts in Menard and Sangamon Counties.

Residents from southwestern Illinois have formed the newest chapter of Quail Forever (QF), the Silver Creek QF Chapter. The group plans to focus their efforts on improving habitat for quail in Clinton, St. Clair, Monroe, and Madison counties, while also introducing area youngsters to hunting and conservation.
Illinois Quail Forever Seeking Youth Ambassadors - Jul. 14, 2009
Illinois Pheasants Forever (PF) and Quail Forever (QF) are looking for interested youth to participate in the first-ever Illinois PF/QF Youth Leadership Council. Twelve youth (ages 10-17) with an interest in hunting, fishing and the outdoors will be selected to serve as youth ambassadors on a variety of conservation issues.
